MANDATORY ROLE OF PSCC:
- Collect BBBEE Property Sector Code certificate and back-end details from companies in the property sector collate and analyse into an annual report.
- REPORTING OF ANNUAL TRANSFORMATION PROGRESS of the Property Sector to the following structures:
- Custodians of B-BBEE - Minister of Trade and Industry;
- Parliament - Portfolio Committee;
- Line Ministry – Department of Public Works and Human Settlement
- B-BBEE commission(Ombudsman); and
- Property Sector Participants
- Other ROLES that PSCC plays to ACHIEVE ITS PURPOSE:
- PSCC EMPOWERED to act with EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY in providing necessary GUIDANCE on Sector specific matters affecting B-BBEE to entities within the Property Sector.
- To ASSIST THE STAKEHOLDERS of the sector on their TRANSFORMATION JOURNEY as outlined in the sector Codes;
- To ADD VALUE to the sector by providing the much needed GUIDANCE towards transformation
- To BREATH LIFE into the Sector Charter process
